Stewards worked together to close a large desire line in Willow Lake Preserve with provided fallen leaves, tree cuttings, and fallen branches.

With a large turn out, volunteers completed the Mugwort removal from the Meadow Lake Rain Garden next to Meadow Lake Boathouse.

With the help of Big Reuse, volunteers spread a mix of compost and leaves to protect the soil from the cold months ahead and removed the invasive plant, mugwort.

Volunteers continued working to eradicate the invasive plant mugwort that has overtaken the Rain Garden, some growing over 6 feet tall!

Joined by Keeper Sosha from Queens Zoo, volunteers took part in a special discussion about bats in NYC and at FMCP! This was followed by invasive vine removal from along the Pat Dolan Trail.
