Pestering Plants

Sunday, December 5, 2021 was our final mugwort removal event at the Meadow Lake Rain Garden. Thanks to the 42 volunteers in attendance, we had just the push we needed to completely restore the remaining south end of the garden, pulling a total of over 25 bags of weeds and garbage out of the area. Once again, stewards enjoyed a wonderful day in the park, with sunny skies and mild temperatures. Thank you to our returning volunteers, new volunteers, and our Super Stewards who made this event a success! The garden looks great and is one step closer to being prepped for planting in the Spring months!
