The Environmental Stewardship Team hosted a Fall Kickoff Promenade Cleanup Event to welcome the change of the season. Volunteers removed over 30 bags of litter, trash, and invasive plants from the promenade and riprap. Billion Oyster Project was onsite to answer any questions from volunteers regarding the oyster population in New York Harbor and BOP mission. The weather was great and all 34 volunteers enjoyed a beautiful day at the Bay.
