Garden Grass Care Volunteer Event

Volunteers joined together to trim ornamental grasses, shrubs, and bushes in the Meadow Lake Rain Garden. This helped to create space in the garden for spring growth and area for new plantings in the coming weeks. Our large turnout allowed us to remove all the excess grasses in one event, which is great! The perseverance of the volunteers to improve our rain garden has drastically assisted the Park with the upkeep of this area especially since there was a halt to events during the pandemic and the Rain Garden suffered immensely from this.
