Giving Tuesday is an annual day of giving held on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving. This year, Giving Tuesday will be held on December 2, 2025.
For the Alliance for Flushing Meadows Corona Park, Giving Tuesday is an opportunity for the community to come together and give back to the park that has meant so much to all of us. It is a vital moment to raise awareness and support for maintaining and improving the park’s natural beauty, facilities, and programs. Unlike commercial spaces, we rely heavily on donations and community engagement to thrive—funding from Giving Tuesday can directly support initiatives such as youth recreation programs, cultural events, and environmental stewardship efforts. Each contribution helps ensure that the park remains clean, safe, and welcoming for everyone, from families and joggers to seniors and students.
