Join the Flushing Meadows Corona Park Stewardship Team for a special volunteer event observing World Wetlands Day and our beautiful rain garden along Meadow Lake.
This event will feature a special guest speaker who will share insights on wetlands and rain gardens and how they can be implemented in urban landscapes to mitigate stormwater runoff while creating thriving oases for local wildlife.
Activities will vary from general cleaning to invasive species removal, weeding, and more depending on the weather.
