Invasive species are those that may not be native but find a way to thrive in various habitats. In the Meadow Lake rain garden mugwort is an invasive that is thriving in this wet micro-environment. Since mugwort grows using a creeping root system it is important to remove the plants we can see and the roots deep in the soil.
