Plants give us oxygen, feed pollinators and make the environment beautiful but did you know that some plants also help in clean water? The roots of certain plants help to remove some of the pollutants that are pick-up by water as it flows along the the surface as run-off. These type of plants are important in rain gardens. Join the FMCP team to learn more about how plants are part of natures filtration system and help us add some of these unique plants to the rain garden.
NOTE: 7/23 is the rescheduled date for this volunteer opportunity
