Many people, when thinking of pollinators, picture butterflies and bees, however there are hundreds more pollinator species right here in the city. Bats are a key pollinator to many ecosystems within the United Sates, especially in New York.
Join the FMCP team as we remove weeds and invasive plants so we can add native plants that bats find attractive. This will ultimately encourage the establishment of these plant species along the Pat Dolan Trail. There will also be an Ecosystems Education opportunity to learn about the bats who call New York home.
