World Wetlands Day is coming up! The Flushing Meadows Corona Park Stewardship Team is planning a day of service and ecosystems education to celebrate this wonderful natural resource found throughout our park.
We will begin the day by working on the Pat Dolan Trail, an indispensable gateway for park visitors to experience FMCP’s wetlands. After the volunteer work, our Urban Park Rangers will be leading a lesson on wetlands and their importance.
